Penelope Pendrick and the Art of Deceit

I don't know where to start... First of all, I'd like to thank Julia Holdnack and her small team for taking iniative at saving Nancy Drew-style games! I learned about this game in Nancy Drew community and I couldn't wait to play it! Now that I've finished it, I must say it felt exactly like playing ND when I was a kid. I liked the story and how easy it was to figure out the suspect (okay, I miiight've trusted the wrong person though). With the last ND game, I felt stupid and there were toooo much puzzles. In the Art of deceit there are just enough puzzles to keep the story going, a well-balanced suspence and some funny moments. I felt like a true, old-fashioned detective, making notes in my notebook, deciphering the secret code. No Internet, no calling friends for help :) There were easter eggs, but I didn't get any, so I guess the story isn't over for me. If anybody reads this before playing, just know that sometimes sleep is the best solution for the problem lol In general, this is the game that all ND fans needed. Despite some minor things that bug me (like character models or animation), this is a playable game. Looking forward to playing more Penelope games in the future!
