This game is a truly unique product, and it’s definitely not for everyone right now. We live in an era of "fast-paced achievement" culture, where people use guides to speedrun everything or just blindly run from one quest marker to the next. This game, however, is pure Old School. It captures that ephemeral idea that an MMO can be a fun, adventurous experience driven by the player, rather than a forced plot packed with flashy cinematics. It’s a game for those who truly value gameplay. Every skill you learn and every experiment you try will yield its own rewards. I bought the game back in beta after trying out the demo because I was genuinely curious to see where it would go. If you want to actually enjoy it, just relax. Pick a build you like and start exploring the world. Theorycraft your own setups, then test them out in dungeons and against bosses. And yes, playing solo is totally viable if you take the time to learn the mechanics (well, except for a few specific moments, perhaps). On top of that, the community is very social and always ready to team up. Bottom line: if you're tired of modern MMOs and their current trends, just treat the leveling and world exploration as the core part of the gameplay. Plus, you can always try running the hardcore, one-life "DeathCore" mode on a cow or a pig. It's an absolute blast.
